No. The Balboa mini chiller cools the water to 5°C automatically. Fill the unit, switch it on, and the chiller handles the rest. No ice, no manual intervention.

What base does the Chillax need?

The unit requires a hard, flat, level surface. A poured concrete slab is ideal. A solid patio or reinforced decking will work, provided it is level and rated to support the weight of the unit when full. Your Aurora adviser will confirm requirements before delivery.

What power supply does it need?

The Chillax runs from a standard 13 amp household socket. No dedicated circuit or specialist electrical work is required.

What is included with the Chillax?

The unit comes with a 70mm insulated lid, anti-slip entry steps, the Balboa chiller, integrated filtration, an ozonator, underwater LED, and free delivery and professional installation as standard.

What water treatment does the Chillax need?

Chlorine is the most common treatment for chill tubs and is suitable for the Chillax. Bromine is an alternative for those with chlorine sensitivity. Your Aurora adviser can advise on dosing and a maintenance schedule based on your usage.
