Woodnest Lucia 2 Person Outdoor Sauna FAQ's

How do the sauna models differ?

The models vary in size, internal arrangement, window design, steam-room position and additional spaces. Depending on the design, you may also find features such as a terrace, entrance area or shower space.

How can I choose the right sauna for my space?

Consider how many people will use the sauna, how much room you have available and whether you prefer a particular layout or heating system. If you are unsure, Woodnest can help you compare the available options.

Can the sauna be connected to drainage?

A connection to a sewage or drainage system may be possible where your project requires it. This should be discussed before ordering so the relevant preparation can be considered.

Are Woodnest saunas suitable for colder climates?

The saunas are designed with Nordic weather conditions in mind. Their construction and material choices are intended to support durability and comfortable use across changing seasons.

How long can a sauna last?

Longevity depends on the construction, exposure and level of maintenance. With appropriate care, a Woodnest sauna is designed to provide many years of use.

Are the timber surfaces treated?

Woodnest states that the internal and external timber surfaces are finished to improve weather resistance, simplify upkeep and maintain their appearance.

How should I look after my sauna?

Allow the sauna to ventilate properly after each use and keep the interior clean. Regular airflow helps support a pleasant indoor environment and helps the timber dry naturally.

How often should the interior be treated?

Interior sauna surfaces should generally be treated with suitable sauna-protection products every one to two years, depending on use and condition.

How often should the exterior be maintained?

External timber surfaces should generally be treated every four to five years. The precise timing will depend on the finish, exposure and local weather conditions.

Can I order different dimensions?

Yes. We can discuss bespoke sauna dimensions to help your chosen model work with the space available at your property.
